Vishal Ajmera

Vishal Ajmera is the Director of Digital Financial Products in Accion’s Global Advisory Solutions team based in India. In this role, Vishal works on the creation of innovative, scalable and fit-for-purpose financial products that respond to customer needs, such as credit and savings in emerging markets.

Vishal has previously worked for Tulaa in Kenya, co-developing a credit score for smallholder farmers utilizing natural persons information, credit bureau report, agri-climatic risk and farming activity data. He also worked for Amazon in Luxemburg and the United States, managing extensive user acceptance testing, for a new platform roll-out in 5 EU markets with diverse language requirements, before launch to identify and prioritize launch blockers.

Vishal holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a MBA from INSEAD in France & Singapore. Vishal speaks four languages: Swahili, Hindi, Guajarati and English.
