Cesar Moreno Gutierrez

Cesar Moreno Gutierrez is an experienced project director specializing in EPC projects within the power sector, particularly in waste-to-energy and thermosolar power plants. Currently, as the Headquarters Project Director at ACCIONA since June 2015, Cesar oversees engineering coordination, procurement, subcontract management, and compliance for UK Waste to Energy projects. Previous roles include Senior Project Director for various biomass and CSP plants, where responsibilities encompassed project delivery in line with schedule, cost, and quality standards, along with budget management and contract negotiations. Prior to ACCIONA, Cesar held significant positions at Grupo Cobra, GE Power & Water, and Unión Fenosa Generación, focusing on project management, proposal development, and optimization of power plant operations. Cesar holds a degree in Mining Engineering specialized in Energy and Fuels from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
