Jorge Garcia Gutierrez-Marcet

Jorge Garcia Gutierrez-Marcet is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and asset management within the power transmission and sustainable industry sectors. Currently serving as Global Director for Transmission and Sustainable Industry at ACCIONA since May 2016, Jorge manages over 1,500 km of power transmission lines and has held various leadership roles focusing on business development and project origination. Prior to ACCIONA, Jorge worked at Abengoa, where roles included VP of Business Development for Latin America and Biofuels, overseeing international teams and strategy across multiple regions. Jorge's earlier experience includes consulting for SAP and engineering at Airbus. Academic credentials include an Executive MBA from IE Business School and a Master’s degree from Cranfield University.
