Peymon Ilkhani

Peymon Ilkhani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of transmission line design and structural engineering. Currently serving as the Transmission Lead - Structural at ACCIONA AU & NZ since November 2024, Peymon leads a team focused on the HumeLink East 500 kV Double Circuit transmission line. Previously, as Technical Director at Mott MacDonald from July 2021 to November 2024, Peymon successfully led the Transmission Line Design team, specializing in high-voltage transmission lines and power structures. Peymon's earlier roles include Engineering Manager for Power Structures at WSP in Australia & New Zealand, where expertise was developed in transmission lines and power generation, along with significant contributions as a Senior Structural Engineer focused on HV aerial and rail overhead wiring structures. Peymon began the professional journey at UGL Limited as a Transmission Line Design Engineer. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
