Guanpi Lai

Guanpi Lai has worked in various roles since 2005. Guanpi began their career at Nexicon Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they initiated and designed an Anti-Piracy system to discover infringements for the copyright contents on the Internet. Guanpi then moved on to Harris Corporation as a Software Engineer, followed by The University of Arizona as an Applications and Systems Analyst, Senior and Applications and Systems Analyst. In 2012, they joined Nexant as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2014 they began working at MedeAnalytics International as Principal Software Engineer/Manager/Senior Manager/Director of Product Development. In 2018, they became Chief Architect & Security Officer at DeepThink Health, and in 2019 they took on the role of Chief Data Scientist at Acclivity Health Solutions, Inc.

Guanpi Lai obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University between 1994 and 1999. Guanpi then obtained a Master of Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona between 2001 and 2002. Finally, they obtained a Ph.D in Systems and Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona between 2001 and 2010.
