Lisa Bramer is an accomplished Chief Data Scientist and Statistician currently leading the Data Science & Biostatistics Team at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since July 2013. In addition to this role, Lisa serves as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning & Computational Statistics Team Leader at the University of Oregon while also lecturing in the Bioinformatics and Genomics Master's Program. Prior experience includes a range of positions at Iowa State University, where Lisa was a Statistical Consultant, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant, as well as an intern at MidAmerican Energy Company, where advanced power curve models and algorithms were developed. Additionally, as an intern at the State of Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development, Lisa assessed employment opportunities in the Bioscience industry and advised policymakers on resource allocation. Lisa holds a PhD and MS in Statistics from Iowa State University and dual bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Statistics, and Psychology from Purdue University.
