Alex Chung

Alex Chung has extensive work experience in quality management and compliance. Alex began their career at Shure Incorporated in 1995, working as a Quality Engineer and later as a Senior Reliability Engineer. Alex introduced statistical analysis methods and the function of Reliability Engineering within the company. In subsequent roles, they led the setup of quality functions and management systems, obtained product regulatory approvals, and managed multi-discipline projects. In 2016, Alex joined ACCO Brands as a Director and later Senior Director, responsible for leading and developing corporate quality teams, establishing quality reports, and implementing quality inspection databases. Throughout their career, they have achieved significant improvements in product quality, warranty cost reduction, and resolving quality and compliance problems.

Alex Chung earned a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University, from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they have certifications as a Certified Reliability Engineer and an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer from the ASQ, obtained in 1999 and 1997 respectively.
