Aj Overton

AJ Overton has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data science, research, and analysis. They started their career at Embrace Uganda, serving as the Director of International Development from 2009 to 2011. They then joined ICF, where they held multiple roles from 2011 to 2015, including Research Analyst, Research Associate, Senior Research Associate, and Technical Specialist. In 2015, they joined the Duke Clinical Research Institute as a Statistician and later became a Statistical Programmer. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Duke University School of Medicine as the Associate Director of Scientific Operations-AI Health. They then joined Collective Health as a Staff Data Scientist from 2022 to 2023. Currently, AJ Overton is the Director of Data Science at Accompany Health, starting in 2023.

AJ Overton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Environmental Toxicology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2006. Following this, AJ pursued a Master's degree in Statistics at Penn State University, completing their education in 2016.
