Janine Knudsen has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Janine is currently the Head of Clinical Innovation and Population Health at Accompany Health. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where they developed curricula on various healthcare topics and conducted program evaluations and research. Janine also served as the STEP Clinical Site Director at Country Doctor Community Health Centers and as a Medical Director at Aledade, Inc. In addition, they held positions such as Medical Director at NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Primary Care Physician at NYC Health + Hospitals / Bellevue Hospital, and Medical Director at NYC Health + Hospitals, where they implemented population health strategies and launched community-based programs. Janine also gained experience as a Primary Care / Internal Medicine Resident Physician at NYU School of Medicine and as a Clinical Innovation Fellow at Primary Care Progress. Furthermore, they worked as an Innovation / Strategy Intern at UCLA Institute for Innovation in Health, where they supported strategic projects related to population health and value-based payment models.

Janine Knudsen earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Health Studies from The Johns Hopkins University in 2010. Janine then pursued a medical career and obtained an MD degree from Harvard Medical School in 2015.
