Shirin Ahmed

Shirin Ahmed is an experienced leader in digital health and healthcare data products, currently serving as the Director of the Digital Health Platform at Shoppers Drug Mart since July 2025. Previously, Shirin held the position of Director of Healthcare Data Products at Loblaw Companies Limited from January 2024 to July 2025 and served as Senior Manager for both Digital Health and Patient Reported Health Outcomes at Shoppers Drug Mart from September 2020 to December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Strategy Advisor at the International Rescue Committee’s Airbel Innovation Lab, Senior Project Manager at PremieBreathe, and Program Manager at the Yale Institute for Global Health, where Shirin managed significant global health initiatives. Shirin co-founded PremieBreathe, which developed a low-cost breathing device for newborns, and received notable funding from USAID. Shirin Ahmed holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Yale University.
