Derek Mulhern, ACC

Derek Mulhern began their work experience in 2010 as an intern for the United States House of Representatives. Derek then worked as a Sales/Marketing Intern for AgReliant Genetics LLC. in 2010. From 2011 to 2011, Derek served as a Collegiate Programs Intern for the National FFA Organization. Derek then worked at Agriculture Future of America, first as a Program Coordinator from 2012 to 2013, and then as a Collegiate and Student Relations Manager from 2013 to 2015. Derek then became the Director of Program Development for the American Farm Bureau Federation from 2015 to 2015. Derek also worked as the Director of Membership for the Organic Trade Association from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Derek served as the Business Development Manager for Fairtrade America. In 2019, they joined the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global) as a Chapter Development Director, and in 2020, they became the Chief of Staff. Derek also worked as a Consultant for AFP Global starting in 2023. Derek founded Derek Mulhern Coaching & Consulting in 2022, where they coach leaders to achieve fulfillment and create transformative results. Derek also worked as a Leadership Coach for Accomplishment Coaching in 2022, focusing on helping professionals and teams deepen their leadership capacity and achieve higher results.

Derek Mulhern obtained a Certificate of Executive Leadership in Business Administration and Management, General from Cornell University in the year 2022. Prior to that, they completed their degree in Agricultural Education-Leadership Communications from the University of Minnesota, spanning from 2008 to 2012. Currently, they are pursuing additional education at Accomplishment Coaching, with no specific degree mentioned. Moreover, Derek Mulhern holds the certification of Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation, acquired in February 2023. Additionally, they received the "Forty under 40" certification from the Association Forum in December 2020. It is unknown when or where they obtained the "Executive Leadership" certification.
