Salem al Shahrani

Salem Al Shahrani is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Managing Director at Accor since October 2021 and also holding the role of Managing Director for FRSS Makkah. Al Shahrani previously held positions as Managing Director in two confidential hospitality firms, and as a Lecturer in the Hospitality Department at King AbdulAziz University, where responsibilities included hospitality advisory, executive education, and workforce certification. With extensive experience at InterContinental Hotels Group, Al Shahrani progressed through various leadership roles culminating in General Manager, receiving numerous awards, including GM of the Year in 2014 MEA. Al Shahrani holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Hospitality Administration from EHL and an EMBA from King AbdulAziz University, along with several specialized diplomas from AHLEI and other institutions.
