Liesbet Haustermans

Liesbet Haustermans serves as the Chair of the Professional and Ethics Working Party at Accountancy Europe since January 2021. With an extensive career at Deloitte since 1994, Liesbet holds the position of Regional Independence Leader within the DTTL Global Independence team and has been promoted to Senior Director. Additionally, Liesbet contributed to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) as a Board Member from January 2016 to December 2021 and as a Technical Advisor from January 2010 to December 2015. Liesbet is a Belgian Registered Auditor, having graduated from the Belgian Institute of Auditors and obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Audit, along with a specialization in Marketing, from KU Leuven, where studies were completed between 1988 and 1994.
