Jamonty Jones

JaMonty Jones, MBA, serves as the business owner of El Jefe House of Cigars since January 2022 and has been a high school science teacher with the Mobile County Public School System since July 2018. Previously, JaMonty worked as an academic evaluator for the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) from September 2013 to March 2024, where responsibilities included evaluating academic compliance and writing detailed compliance reports. From August 2012 to June 2018, JaMonty was the program director at Virginia College, overseeing academic program administration and leadership. Earlier experience includes a role as a pharmacy quality assurance and customer service technician at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, focused on training programs and compliance audits. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of North Alabama, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-Portland, and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Auburn University.
