Ambrose Krapacs

Ambrose Krapacs has over fifteen years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2021, they began working as Principal Engineer at Accrue Savings. Prior to this, they worked at BaseConnect from 2018 to 2021 as Chief Technology Officer, where they went from solo engineer to building and leading a development team of multiple engineers to bring multiple web, mobile, and cloud products to production. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as Senior Director of Technology at Spire Digital. From 2016 to 2017, they were the CTO of Billion People Project. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as Senior Software Engineer at Backflip Studios. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as Mobile Architect at ProKarma. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as Senior Software Engineer at Notify Technology. Additionally, they have consulted on and off for about 10 years in between long term positions. Their specialties are initial development (bootstrapping from 0 to 1), code and technical audits, code triage and recovery.

Ambrose Krapacs received a BS in Computer Science from Youngstown State University in 2005, followed by an MS in Computing and Information Systems from the same university in 2008.
