Bhaskar M. has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Bhaskar began their career in 1999 as a Software Developer at NEVG. In 2003, they moved to Primavera Systems - Oracle, where they held the role of Principal Applications Engineer until the company was acquired by Oracle. From 2009 to 2013, Bhaskar M. worked at Amazon.com as a SDE. Bhaskar then joined Tumblr in 2013 as the Director of Engineering, a role they held until the company was acquired by Yahoo. In 2016, Bhaskar M. became the Director of Engineering at Shutterstock, where they built the Shutterstock editor and increased the user base from 0 to 500k weekly active users. Bhaskar M. received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 1998. Bhaskar then attended the National Center for Software Technology, where they earned a Diploma in Software technology in 1999. In 2001, they began their Master's degree in Computer Science at Drexel University, which they completed in 2003.
