Jean-Pierre van de Capelle

Jean-Pierre Van de Capelle has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jean-Pierre started their career as an R&D Manager at Barco & Barco Graphics, where they led a team in developing color management technology and manufacturing color calibrated CRT monitors. Jean-Pierre then worked at Xerox as a Project and System Engineering Manager, leading engineering teams in launching digital press systems. Jean-Pierre later became a Product Planning/Marketing Manager at Xerox, responsible for marketing strategies and investment decision-making. After Xerox, Jean-Pierre worked at X-Rite as a Director of Product Planning and later transitioned to Accu-Time Systems, where they held roles such as Director of Product Management, Vice President of Business Development, and currently Vice President of Product Management. In between their other roles, they also worked as an Independent Patent Agent, assisting startups with patent applications. Overall, Jean-Pierre has a strong background in technology, product management, and business development.

Jean-Pierre Van de Capelle has a strong educational background in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Finance/Marketing. In 1984, they received both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ghent. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the same university, completing it in 1988. Later on, in 2004, they earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance/Marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, in April 2015, they obtained certification as a Project Manager Professional from PMI.
