Ramya Arerangaiah M.D.

Ramya Arerangaiah MD MBA currently serves as the Medical Director at Accuity Delivery Systems, a role held since September 2019. Previous positions include Associate Chief Medical Officer at the United States Department of Defense (2017-2021) and Chief Hospitalist at both BayCare Health System and AdventHealth Carollwood (2015-2018). Ramya has extensive experience in care coordination and medical necessity certification at a tertiary level 1 trauma center and has led initiatives such as the Glycemic Task Force to optimize glucose control during hospitalizations. As a teaching faculty member and hospitalist at Cooper University Health Care (2012-2015) and earlier roles at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Ramya contributed to education and research. Educational qualifications include an MD from Capital Health System NJ, an MBA from Rutgers Business School, and an MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.
