Mike Taylor has a diverse work experience in the surveying and mapping industry. Mike started their career as a Survey Technician at Aspen Surveying Inc in 1996. Mike then worked as a Senior Survey Technician at Balzer & Associates from 1998 to 2009. Mike continued to progress in their career and became a Senior Project Surveyor at H&B Surveying & Mapping, LLC from 2009 to 2014. Mike then joined Rice Associates, Inc as a Senior Project Manager and worked there until 2017. Currently, Mike is serving as the Director of Survey Operations at Accumark, Inc, where they have been working since November 2017.
Mike Taylor attended the Community College of Baltimore County from 2017 to 2019 and obtained a Certificate in Minor Engineering with a field of study in Civil Engineering. In addition to their education, they also obtained various certifications including being a Land Surveyor certified by the Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Certified Interior Designers and Landscape Architects in December 2019, being a Professional Land Surveyor in Maryland certified by the Maryland Department of Labor in December 2019, and being a Licensed Surveyor certified by the District of Columbia Board of Professional Engineering in November 2018.
