Jari Toivanen has a diverse background in research, with extensive experience in various academic institutions and organizations. Jari began their career as a Researcher at the University of Houston in 2001, where they worked until 2003. From there, they joined North Carolina State University as a Researcher and remained there until 2006. In 2006, Toivanen moved to Stanford University, where they continued their research work until 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Researcher at Accuray from 2017 onwards. Concurrently, Toivanen held multiple roles at the University of Jyväskylä, including Researcher from 1998 to 2013, Adjunct Professor from 2000 onwards, and Research Professor from 2013 until 2020.
