Rich Holloway has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Rich started their career as a Volunteer in the Peace Corps in 1987. Following that, they served as a PhD Student and Research Assistant at UNC-Chapel Hill from 1990 to 1995. Rich then worked as a Software Design Engineer at Hewlett Packard from 1995 to 1998.

Holloway continued their career as a Principal Software Engineer at Volumetrics Medical Imaging from 1998 to 2001.
