Shannon Dixon Godbold

Shannon Dixon Godbold has extensive work experience in various roles related to clinical affairs and clinical trials. Shannon Dixon is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Affairs at Accuray since October 2021. Before that, they worked at Terumo BCT as the Senior Manager of Global Clinical Affairs from April 2018 to October 2021, and as a Clinical Affairs Manager from August 2014 to April 2018. Prior to Terumo BCT, Shannon held positions at Galena Biopharma as a Clinical Trial Manager from November 2013 to August 2014, at Ockham Development Group as a Senior Clinical Research Associate from August 2012 to November 2013, and at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Trial Manager from January 2012 to August 2012. Shannon Dixon also worked at Oncology Trials Insights as the Manager of Research Services from April 2011 to December 2011, at Allos Therapeutics as a Clinical Trial Manager from September 2002 to April 2011, at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center as an Oncology Clinical Study Coordinator from September 2001 to September 2002, at the University of Colorado Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Bone Marrow Transplant from September 1997 to September 2001, and at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center as a Per Diem Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology from March 1997 to September 1997.

Shannon Dixon Godbold pursued their education with dedication and completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, specializing in the field of nursing. This educational journey took place from 1991 to 1993. Before this, they acquired their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston, where they studied from 1984 to 1988.
