Om Moolchandani is currently the CTO, CISO & Co-founder at Accurics. Om has over 2 years of experience in leading innovation and technology vision, cyber security strategy and cyber research and development. Om is also responsible for disrupting and pioneering code to cloud security.

Prior to joining Accurics, Om was the CISO & Chief Product Security Officer at AutoGrid where they had the unique opportunity to build the cyber security infrastructure, devsecops and compliance for a cloud-based product that augments industrial cloud and IoT stack. During their time at AutoGrid, they architected, built and implemented the cyber security for energy management and IoT products with industry focus areas such as energy internet, demand response (DROM) for utilities, distributed energy resource management (DERMS) and flexibility management for energy providers.

Some of Om’s notable accomplishments include building the network security monitoring (NSM) capabilities from the ground up, as well as the cloud workload protection infrastructure including cloud event monitoring, intrusion detection, protection and response (self healing). Om has also implemented user behavior analytics (UBA) and cloud security posture management. In addition, they have built the cloud application security monitoring (egress, ingress, WAF) DevSecOps, which included continuous threat modeling, SAST, DAST, vulnerability and patch management.

Om has also been responsible for compliance management of various digital forensics and incident response compliance such as NERC CIP controls implementation and compliance management for Cloud and ICS, SOC2 compliance readiness, implementation and audit management, and NIST CSF implementation.

Each of these colleagues has a different role to play in the company, but they all work together to help Om Moolchandani succeed in their role as CTO, CISO & Co-founder.
