Yimin Qian

Dr. Yimin Qian brings to Accutar Biotech over 20 years of drug discovery experience in both pharma and biotech. Yimin has previously held multiple leadership positions. Most recently, he was Senior Director at Arvinas (2014–2018), Director of External Medicinal Chemistry and Asian Lead at Merck (2013–2014), and he worked as Research Leader and in other roles at Roche (1997–2013). Yimin has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers, with over 3000 scientific citations. He is an inventor of 29 issued US patents and has an additional 26 pending patent applications. At Accutar Biotech, Yimin leads the efforts to train the artificial intelligence drug discovery platform using expert human knowledge and to further improve the Accutar-Degrader (accurate-target degrader) technology platform. Yimin obtained his Doctorate degree in organic chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and his postdoctoral training from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
