Zhonghui Wan

Zhonghui Wan, Ph.D., joined Accutar Biotechnology as VP of CMC at the beginning of year 2021. Zhonghui has over 20 years of industrial experiences in process chemistry and CMC, from both large pharma and biotech, both in US and in China. Zhonghui started his industrial career in process chemistry at Eli Lilly & Company as a Senior Research Scientist (2001-2008), where he delivered over 10 projects in process development from phase I to phase III. From2009-2014, Zhonghui worked at Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine as Head of Process Chemistry, built up a group of 60 people, delivered over 20 challenging projects in process development for both generics as well as new drug entities at different stages. Prior to his joining Accutar Biotechnology, Zhonghui was a Senior Vice President of CMC at TransThera Biosciences (2018-2020), where he managed the chemistry development related activities and achieved the successful filing of 5 INDs to both FDA and NMPA. He is also the inventor of TT-01025, which is currently in clinic trial for NASH. Zhonghui obtained Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from University of Pittsburgh.
