David Taynor

David Taynor, CSM, CSSGB, is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in content operations and project management within the broadcasting industry. Currently serving as Executive Director/Director of Content Operations at AccuWeather since July 2016, David has successfully re-engineered the localization process for a national television network, enhancing efficiency and monetization. Previously, as Senior Manager of Project Management at AccuWeather Network, David employed Six Sigma and Scrum methodologies to oversee project delivery. David's prior roles include Production Manager at WPXI-TV, where staff transitioned to a mixed employment model, and Technical Operations Manager at WNCN, where a department reorganization improved operational efficiency. David's career began as a Producer/Director at WTOL and as a Reporter/News Engineer at WFND-TV. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a specialization in Mass Media from The University of Toledo.
