Zubair Abdullah-Vetter

Zubair Abdullah-Vetter is a PhD candidate at UNSW specializing in the application of machine learning to luminescence images of solar cells since February 2019. Zubair has also worked as a researcher with the ACDC Photovoltaic Research Group and as a research assistant for the SunSPoT project, where Lidar data was processed using ArcGIS and Python. Additional experience includes academic tutoring in photovoltaics courses, a vacation research student position at CSIRO focusing on residential battery performance, and various roles in community engagement and leadership, such as a martial arts instructor and treasurer of the UNSW Taekwondo Club. Zubair holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Photovoltaics Engineering from UNSW and completed secondary education at Malek Fahd Islamic School.
