Christine Nkirote has over 20 years of work experience in Human Resources and Administration. Christine started their career at MSF Holland in 1996, where they worked in HR Administration, Finance, and Logistics. In 2005, they joined Education Development Center as an HR & Admin Coordinator, and later became a Project Administrator/HR Officer. In these roles, Christine was responsible for recruitment, staff training and supervision, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee grievance program, and HR policy administration. In 2014, they moved to ACDI/VOCA, where they served as a Procurement & HR Manager, overseeing the procurement function and managing recruitment, staff welfare, and performance appraisal processes. Currently, they are working as a Human Resource Director at ACDI/VOCA in a consortium supporting 4 projects, where they focus on coordinating the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and managing benefit summaries and salary scales.
Christine Nkirote completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management (HRM) from St Paul's University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they studied HRM at the Kenya Institute of Management from 2008 to 2010. Christine is currently pursuing an MBA at Daystar University. Additionally, they are an ongoing Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) at the Institute of Human Resource Management and a registered member of IHRM Kenya.
