Chief of Party of the Food Security, Agriculture & Resilient Market Systems Activity at ACDI/VOCA

Walter F. Nuñez-Rodriguez is the chief of party of the Food Security, Agriculture and Resilient Market Systems Activity, a five-year, USAID-funded activity aimed at strengthening agricultural market systems in Honduras. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA as a short-term consultant in 2021, Walter worked for Chemonics International from 2002 through 2021, serving as a consultant, deputy chief of party and chief of party in Bolivia, Ghana, and Peru, and director for new business for Latin America and the Caribbean working remotely from Santa Cruz, Bolivia over these two last years. Walter holds a BA in economics from The George Washington University, an MS in agriculture economics from Purdue University, and a diploma in security and national defense from Bolivian War College. He is fluent in English and Spanish and received the Excellence in Leadership Award from Chemonics International’s Board of Directors in 2010.
