Ana Isabel Corregidor Sánchez has a degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Castilla la Mancha (UCLM), a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Complutense University and a PhD in Health Sciences (UCLM).
She is a professor in the Occupational Therapy degree at the Faculty of Health Sciences (UCLM) and coordinator of the Saramago 50+ University Program. She teaches the Master in brain damage and therapies based on robotics and virtual reality.
Active member of the Spanish society of geriatrics and gerontology, with the coordination of the Occupational Therapy group (2008-2013) and participation in the Gerontecnology and Silver Economy working group. His lines of research focus on the use of technology to improve the quality of life of the elderly and learning processes during ageing. She has participated in different European and national research projects, author of books and related scientific articles in high-impact journals.
It has an important commitment to university ministry, belonging to the group of Catholic professors at UCLM and contributing to the organization of summer courses, seminars and activities aimed at students.
