Michele Scott

Michele Scott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community development and leadership within the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, serving as Tribal Councilor since January 2022 and previously as Community Development Strategist from October 2014 to December 2016. Prior to these roles, Michele held the position of Executive Director at the Health Education Center from December 2016 to January 2022 and directed Circles of Care/Systems of Care Projects at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) from November 2008 to September 2014. Michele holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and American Studies from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University.
