Amol Naik has had a long and varied career in the field of research and development. Amol began their career in 2005 as a Lecturer at K. C. College. In 2009, they moved to M. D. College in Mumbai as an Assistant Professor. In 2013, they were a Foreign Expert at Wuhan University of Technology, where they were responsible for designing a suitable method of synthesis of LiFePO4 using Microwave and Microwave-Assisted Plasma Chemical Vapour Deposition (MPCVD). In 2016, they joined Verdeen Chemicals Pvt Ltd as Lead, Chemistry R and D, (HOD), where they monitored and created intellectual property, led process development teams, and conducted pilot-scale trials. In 2017, they were promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at VerdeEn Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., where they were responsible for leading technology strategies, thought leadership, and innovation. Finally, in 2022 they were appointed Vice President Research and Development at ACE Green Recycling, Inc.
Amol Naik obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from NES Ratnam College in India between 1995 and 1998. Amol then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Physical Chemistry from Kishinchand Chellaram College of Arts Commerce and Science between 1999 and 2001. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Material Science and Chemistry from The Institute of Science in Mumbai between 2001 and 2007.
