Farid Ahmed

Farid Ahmed has a long and varied career in business. Farid began their career in 1988 as a Development Metallurgist at Johnson Matthey. In 1995, they moved to Britannia Refined Metals Ltd. as a Marketing Sales Executive. In 2001, they joined Morgan Specialty Graphite as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for business development for the European metallurgical, furnace, aerospace, glass, and nuclear industries. In 2002, they became the Business Development Manager at Teclon Packaging Ltd. where they were responsible for business generation in new geographical and industrial sectors. From 2005 to 2009, Farid held multiple roles, including Managing Director at WOLF UNIQUE LIMITED, Consultant at The Lamberhurst Corporation, and President, Chairman & Board Member at Chichester Chamber of Commerce & Industry. In 2009, they were appointed Non-Executive Director at Sussex Chamber of Commerce. Since 2015, they have been the Principal Analyst Lead Markets at Wood Mackenzie. Most recently, in 2022, Farid was appointed VP Global Strategy & Business Development at ACE Green Recycling, Inc.

Farid Ahmed attended the University of Leeds from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a BEng (Hons) in Metallurgy. Farid also holds a MIC certification from the Chartered Management Institute.
