Jay Ballard is a skilled development professional with extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, and event management within the non-profit and theater sectors. Currently serving as the Development Database Coordinator at ACE Scholarships since July 2022, Jay previously held the role of Development Coordinator for Individual and Planned Giving at the American Association for Cancer Research. Jay's background includes significant positions at Chance Theater and California Repertory Company, where responsibilities spanned from managing donor records and marketing initiatives to overseeing special events and box office operations. Jay holds a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Business Administration in Theater Management from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater and Management from Rutgers University-Camden.

Our mission is to provide children of low-income families with scholarships to private schools in grades K-12, and to advocate for expanded school choice. ACE is a Denver, Colorado-based 501(c)(3) founded in 2000. ACE has a direct impact in the lives of children from low-income families in Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Wyoming, Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas. Our vision is that every child will have equal access to a quality education.
