Jon Lineberger has a diverse work experience that includes various roles and responsibilities. Jon started their career as a Resident Assistant at Houston Baptist University in 1999. Later, they worked as an Assistant Vice President/Director at Dallas Baptist University from August 2001 to September 2014. During their time at Dallas Baptist University, they held multiple faculty positions and also served as a Faculty in the Gary Cook Graduate School of Leadership and the College of Professional Studies.

In 2012, Jon Lineberger became an author, writing a book called "What God Did With A Mess Like Me: 17 Truths To A Changed Life." Jon also authored "Tips for Academic Success in College: Habits That Will Make You A Better Student" in 2014.

In 2014, Jon Lineberger joined Prestonwood Christian Academy, where they held various positions. Jon served as the Director of Major Gifts from September 2014 to January 2022 and then became the Chief Administration Officer from January 2022 to June 2023. In this role, they led various departments and managed different aspects of the school system.

Jon Lineberger also contributed to Grand Canyon University as a Dissertation Committee Member - Content Expert from August 2018 onwards.

Presently, Jon Lineberger is serving as the President of Texas at ACE Scholarships, starting from July 2023. The organization focuses on providing scholarships to private schools for children from low-income families and advocating for expanded school choice.

Jon Lineberger obtained their Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Jon Lineberger completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at Houston Christian University, where they had a double major in Psychology and Sociology from 1998 to 2001. Jon completed their secondary education at Carroll Senior High School from 1990 to 1995.
