Grant Campany has a diverse work experience in the life sciences industry. Grant has held various leadership positions in different companies and organizations.

In 2003, they worked as a Strategist for Portfolio Impact & Evaluation at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Life Science Strategist at B LOGiQ Consultancy.

Grant then joined the FDA in 2012 as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) Fellow. Grant later transitioned to Microdermics, where they worked as the Interim CEO from 2015 to 2018.
