Daniela Garcia is a dedicated student at The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II honors. Current roles include a Community-based Research Intern at the American Cancer Society, an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Pediatric Coping and Language Lab, and a Medical Scribe in the Adolescent Health Department at People's Community Clinic. Previously, Daniela served as an Academic Peer Tutor at the Sanger Learning Center, participated as a Pre-medical Summer Intern in the Summer Health Professions Education Program at UT Health Science Center Houston, and worked as a FRI Summer Research Fellow focused on Supramolecular Sensors. Daniela also gained retail experience as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, Inc. Academic background includes completion of the International Baccalaureate program and high school diploma at Mcallen High School.
