Emily Pierce

Emily Pierce is a seasoned professional in sustainability and impact, currently serving as Vice President of Sustainability and Impact at Acento Real Estate Partners since April 2024. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Director of Sustainability at Easterly Government Properties from September 2021 to March 2024 and led the Greenprint Center for Building Performance as Director at the Urban Land Institute from November 2018 to August 2021. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Associate and Associate in Market Engagement at the Institute for Market Transformation, Development Officer at Resources for the Future, and temporary Educational Team Member at the Alliance to Save Energy. Initial professional roles included serving as Executive Assistant at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies. Emily holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Environmental Science and Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Spanish from Elon University.
