Delia Smires has a diverse work experience background. Delia Smires started their career as a Policy Advisor at the Office of Illinois Lt. Governor from September 2003 to September 2006. Delia Smires then served as the Chief of Staff for the IL House of Representatives, 24th District from September 2009 to January 2012. Delia then transitioned to the Illinois Department of Transportation, where they worked as a Project Manager from January 2012 to June 2015.
