Yadong Ruan

Dr. Yadong Ruan is a Senior Data Scientist at ACERTAS. He brings deep financial, mathematical and computational expertise to the development of a wide range of analytical tools, from exploratory data analysis through model optimization to development and algorithm implementation.

Dr. Ruan is highly skilled in the use of data programming software such as R, VBA and MATLAB, which allows him to conduct best practices exploratory data and financial risk analysis. He previously was a Financial Analyst at the China Guangfa Bank in Beijing. Dr. Ruan’s specializations focus on numerical analysis, statistics, Monte Carlo Markov Chain simulation processes and mathematical finance.

Dr. Ruan received a B.S. in International Trade and Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics. He also holds a dual M.S. in Financial Engineering and Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Mathematics with emphasis in partial differential equations and fluid dynamics from Claremont Graduate University.
