Jake Taylor, MSE, has a diverse work experience. Jake began their career in 2014 as a Forecast Analyst for Atmospheric Mass Circulation and Cold Air Outbreaks. In this role, they automated data downloading and processing for ingestion into an experimental weather model, conducted literature reviews, automated the creation of visualizations for analysis of experimental weather model forecast data and observational data, and interpreted data visualizations for lab members. In 2015, they took on the role of Meteorology Analyst for RMS HWind Scientific, where they were responsible for operational analysis of hurricane wind fields using the HWind application, as well as quality-checking data from remote sensing and in-situ observations. In 2016, they began working for HWind as a Software Developer, where they developed company packages and libraries, designed products through research and development or by client request, and visualized, acquired, and standardized data. In 2019, they joined feature[23] as a Software Engineer and Candidate Engineer. In 2021, they began working for Aceyus as a Lead Software Developer and Software Developer 2.
