As Chief Development Officer of ACH Child and Family Services, Dixie helps develop and champion the organization’s strategic vision, ensuring that ACH’s budget, staff and priorities are aligned with its mission to protect children and preserve families. It is Dixie’s job to navigate change, foster innovation and bring people together to support community’s most vulnerable children and families.

Dixie has an extensive career portfolio in development, having served in various leadership roles including Chief Development Officer for Health at the University of Houston, Senior Vice President for Advancement at DePelchin Children’s Center, Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations, Annual Giving and University Events at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, and Director of Development and Director of System Marketing with the Harris Methodist Health System of Texas Health Resources.

In addition to Dixie’s nearly 20 years of fundraising experience, she has a versatile marketing and communications background and has provided system-wide, executive level leadership, executing marketing and communications, branding and development communications for the Harris Methodist Hospital System.

Dixie holds B.S and M.B.A. degrees from Mississippi State University. She has also held the professional designation of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) through CFRE International since 2007 and is a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP.)
