Kurt Smith

Kurt Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in business development and operations management, currently serving as Chief Development Officer at European Wax Center since July 2025. Prior to this role, Kurt held various leadership positions at Yum! Brands, including Vice President & General Manager for Pizza Hut in Latin America & Caribbean, where oversight included a team of over 20 members and significant P&L responsibilities. Additional positions at Yum! Brands encompassed roles such as Vice President & Chief Growth Officer in Latin America & Iberia, and Chief Growth Officer for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. Earlier experience includes strategic management roles at HP and Bain & Company, along with foundational roles at Deloitte. Kurt holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Richmond, complemented by a brief educational stint at The London School of Economics.
