Kristen Neagle has a diverse work experience in the field of government relations, strategic partnerships, communications, and public affairs. Kristen is currently serving as the Director of Government Relations & Strategic Partnerships at Achēv, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, Kristen worked as a Manager of Government Relations & Strategic Partnerships at Achēv from March 2021 to August 2023. Kristen also served as a Board Member at the Public Affairs Association of Canada (Ontario Chapter) from January 2021 to March 2023. Kristen's earlier experience includes working as a Public Affairs Advisor at McMaster University from April 2018 to March 2021, a Communications and Research Associate at The Studio from January 2016 to 2017, and a Legislative Intern at the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme (OLIP) from 2014 to 2015. Kristen also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at McMaster University in 2013 and as a Communications Assistant at the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario in 2013.
Kristen Neagle completed a Certificate in Project Management at the University of Toronto in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from McMaster University in 2014, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with Honours, from McMaster University in 2013. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in courses such as Leading for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Higher Education from the University of Michigan in 2021, The Sustainable Development Goals - A global, transdisciplinary vision for the future from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2020, and Gender-based Analysis+ from the Government of Canada in 2020.
