Andy Sonnesyn possesses extensive experience in educational resource development and program management. Currently serving in the role of Strategic Resource Development at AchieveMpls since November 2021, Andy has previously worked as a Program Manager in the Office of Postsecondary Readiness at the NYC Department of Education from April 2017 to November 2021. Other notable roles include Research Consultant at Columbia Law School’s Center for Public Research and Leadership and College Counselor at a Private Family Foundation. Andy began their career at St. Olaf College as an Admissions Officer and also served as an Education & Youth Policy Intern in the Mayor's Office of the City of Minneapolis. Academically, Andy holds a Master’s degree in Education Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in History and American Studies from St. Olaf College.
