P. Eng. Sara Foley

Sara Foley, P. Eng. has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Sara started their career as a Camp Counselor at Camp Whatchamacallit, where they coordinated daily activities for children and collaborated with a team of counselors.

Sara then worked as a Camp Coordinator at The Works, where they organized food and beverage requirements for private events and resolved customer service issues.

Sara gained engineering experience at ExxonMobil, where they assisted with the Hibernia Southern Extension Topsides project and managed personnel tracking. Sara also worked as a Safety, Security, and Health Engineering Student at WorleyParsons, where they contributed to the safety culture and participated in crisis simulations.

At Husky Energy, Sara worked as a Process Engineer and Pre-Development Engineering Student, focusing on projects related to long-term future projects and offshore operations.

Sara gained project management skills as a Project Engineer and Scheduler at Irving Shipbuilding, where they created interactive metrics dashboards and developed detailed data source requirements.

Most recently, Sara worked as a Data Analyst at J.D. Irving, Limited, where they solved unique data transformation puzzles and provided customers with efficient solutions using tools like Alteryx and Tableau.

Currently, they are working as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Achievers.

Sara Foley, P. Eng. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Holy Heart of Mary High School from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Sara Foley has obtained certifications in Alteryx Designer Core Certification from Alteryx in April 2022, Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in January 2022, and Standard First Aid from St Johns Ambulance.
