Sobia Maredia

Sobia Maredia has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 as an intern at Aga Khan University, Institute of Educational Development. In 2013, they worked as an intern at PiTech Solutions Inc. Sobia then joined Connect Communications (Pvt) Ltd in 2014 as a PHP Web Developer, where they were responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites using PHP frameworks and developing native Android applications. Lastly, they joined Achievers in 2018 as a Software Engineer, progressing to Senior Software Engineer and then Staff Software Engineer.

Sobia Maredia completed their education in a chronological manner. Sobia began their educational journey at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Karachi, from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued their intermediate degree in engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology for their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, which they successfully completed from 2010 to 2014.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Sobia Maredia then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same institute, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Sobia Maredia obtained additional certifications to enhance their skill set. Sobia acquired the Agile Foundations certification from LinkedIn in January 2021 and also completed a course on Learning NoSQL Databases from the same platform in the same month and year.
