Andrew Stephen Walker

Andrew Stephen Walker has extensive work experience in various roles related to health, safety, and quality management. Andrew Stephen began their career as a Control Signaller in HM Forces from 1980 to 1987. Andrew Stephen then worked as a Health and Safety Officer for Outokumpu Stainless Ltd from 1987 to 2002, during which time they also served as the Operations and H&S Support Manager. From 2004 to 2006, Andrew worked as the Health, Safety, and Environment Manager for Sheffield Forgemasters Engineering. Andrew Stephen later served as the SHEQ Manager at Cidon Construction from 2006 to 2007.

Andrew's role as SHEQ Manager continued at HTC Plant Ltd from 2007 to 2010, where they implemented and audited health and safety management systems, achieved various certifications, and contributed to industry working groups. Andrew Stephen then joined Al Futtaim Carillion as the Lifting Operations Manager MENA from 2010 to 2011, where they implemented safety and quality systems and formed safety leadership teams.

From 2011 to 2012, Andrew returned to HTC Plant Ltd as the SHEQ Manager, focusing on maintaining their health and safety management systems and achieving further accolades. Finally, Andrew has been working as the Lead Auditor at Achilles Group Limited since 2012.

Andrew Stephen Walker completed their education at various institutions. In 1975-1980, they attended Aston Comprehensive for their primary education. Later, in 2003, they obtained a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from EEF Sheffield. In 2006, they enrolled at Barnsley College of Further Education and received a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. Additionally, in the same year, they attended Rotherham College of Arts and Technology, where they obtained a City and Guilds 7302 Certificate in Further Education Teaching. Furthermore, Andrew has obtained multiple certifications, including ISO45001:2018 Auditor Migration Course Module 2 from SGS in September 2018, SSIP Assessor Training Course from Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Ltd in March 2018, and Annex SL Module 1 Auditor Transition Course and ISO9001:2015 Module 2 Auditor Transition Course from SGS in January 2016. Andrew Stephen also holds an IEMA Foundation Certificate from IEMA in April 2014 and an ISO9001:2008 Lead Auditor certification from Bureau Veritas in March 2011. Additionally, they earned a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in September 2007 and a NEBOSH National General Certificate from NEBOSH in November 2003.
