Gert-Jan Veldhuizen

Gert-Jan Veldhuizen has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Gert-Jan began their career at Citco Fund Services in 2009 as a Fund Accountant and later transitioned to the role of Senior Middle Office Professional. In 2012, they joined Achmea Investment Management, where they initially worked as an LDI Structurer & Trader. Gert-Jan then progressed to become the Head of Rates Trading in January 2022. Throughout their career, Gert-Jan has demonstrated expertise in various areas of finance, including fund accounting, middle office operations, and trading.

Gert-Jan Veldhuizen holds a Bachelor's degree in Bedrijfseconomie from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2008 to 2009. In September 2014, Gert-Jan obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
