Sandor Hermens

Sandor Hermens has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Sandor started their career as a Legal Counsel at Deloitte in 2001. Sandor then worked at AKD Prinsen van Wijmen as an Attorney at Law within the "Insolvency & Restructuring" department. After that, they joined Enertel N.V. as a Legal Counsel, providing legal services to the business and the board of managing directors. Subsequently, they worked at BNP Paribas Investment Partners as a Senior Legal Counsel, where they provided legal advice to the business and was involved in M&A and regulatory matters. Currently, they are the Head of Legal Department at Achmea Investment Management, where they take responsibility for all the legal matters at entity level and proactively engages with the business and external stakeholders.

Sandor Hermens has an extensive education history. In 1994, they began their studies at Utrecht University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Economic Public and Company Law. Sandor completed this program in 1999. In 2001, they enrolled in the Nederlands Genootschap Bedrijfsjuristen (NGB) and undertook the NGB Beroepsopleiding Bedrijfsjuristen. Moving forward to 2002, Sandor Hermens obtained their degree as an Attorney at Law from NOvA.

Continuing their education, Sandor attended the Grotius Academy in 2007, specializing in Grotius Effectenrecht (Post Doc Securities Laws). In 2015, they studied at Van Harte & Lingsma, focusing on Communicatie, Interactie & Managementvaardigheden (KIM). Additionally, Sandor attended Coach College de Baak in 2017 and 2018, where they furthered their knowledge in Business Administration and Management.

Most recently, from 2020 to 2021, Sandor Hermens was enrolled at TIAS School for Business and Society, concentrating on Business Administration and Management, General.
